Yarrow works alongside domestic violence shelters throughout the United States to provide better safety services for anyone who comes through shelter doors. By making a disguised panic button that is a standalone device, Yarrow provides a reliable way for survivors to get help without alerting their abuser. Oftentimes, abusers take their victims phone to control their communication. When this happens, the survivor is cut off from the outside world without a way to call for help. We provide shelters with the tools to solve this problem. Shelters are now able to provide these panic buttons that will send an emergency text with a GPS location to any contacts the user chooses, as well as the police if they choose, without the need of a phone.
